Last week, our NSW team surveyed a building and showroom using our 3D laser scanning technology. Realserve provided a survey plan of the building for our customers. From the data obtained, the survey team were also able to capture 3D point clouds of luxury vehicles.
The BLK360 3D laser scanner quickly measure and map complex shapes and create scans with sharp, specific detail. The point cloud data generated from the scans is then converted for usability with a compatible 3D CAD application, such as RECAP, AutoCAD, Revit, or ArchiCAD. Using these applications, we can produce precise 2D scale drawings and 3D models. This makes analysing and navigating structures simple for those needing precise measurements.
Our 3D scanner produced some interesting views of the luxury cars. Among the cars scanned were Lamborghinis, Porches, and Ferraris. Below is a capture from the 3D scanned data of a Ferrari.
Although the 3D point cloud scans of the cars look great, they can't be used to see exact measurements and details. At the moment, this technology can only create detailed models and provide specific details for larger objects.

The drawings and models created by our 3D laser scanning technology can be used to digitally create and manage all building information, which describes all aspects of a built asset.
